Potential graduate students:

I co-advise MS students through the Coastal Science & Policy Program at UCSC and MS and PhD students that are accepted to other research labs, pending an agreement with your primary advisor. My time for mentoring students is very limited. Self-directed students conducting research that applies to concrete conservation and management outcomes are a good fit for my research and mentoring style. Before you reach out, please look into the CSP program or other primary research lab(s), and prepare a set of research questions fitting the above description that you’d like to pursue.
